Todd Carney – Writer
Todd Carney is an award-winning writer (Best Screenwriting, Caution Sign, 2009 Dark Carnival Film Festival) but he had to “get a real job.” He has been a Post Production Supervisor in Southern California for over ten years. He began writing and illustrating little books before Kindergarten. At the age of 9, he said, “I have to get it down or it will be lost forever.” He is known in his hometown, Bloomfield, Indiana, as the High School boy who taped all the ball games but never watched, except maybe the girls’ teams. He would write stories during halftime. Jennifer is his wonderful wife and college sweetheart. They graduated in 1994 from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Wade Carney – Director
Wade Carney is the writer/director of the short films The Matter (2007) and The Bonding Agent (2008), and the director of the forthcoming feature-length romantic-dramedy Picking Sagittarius, currently in post-production. Wade has also worked extensively in the theatre as both actor and director, having studied acting while obtaining his degree in Radio/TV/Film from Northwestern University (1997). He is currently a freelance director and developing his own upcoming projects.
Amber Gainey Meade – Starring as Joan
Amber Gainey Meade took her Northwestern University theatre degree and spun it into brass, booking national tours and Equity theatre gigs around Chicagoland before heading west. Now in LA, she is often found acting with dots on her face and sensors on her body, creating characters through motion capture for Image Movers Digital/Disney. Elizabeth Kirkscey – Producer
Elizabeth Kirkscey currently works in freelance feature production. She was Director, Physical Production at Paramount Vantage until the division closed in 2009. Prior to that, she served as Associate Producer of SYRIANA and has worked in various capacities on many features including TENACIOUS D IN THE PICK OF DESTINY, BLOW, THE RAINMAKER, and THE ROCK. She graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in film and the Creative Writing for the Media program.
Rob Nagle – Starring as Hal
Rob Nagle works as an actor whenever he can – theatre, film, television, commercials. Doesn’t really matter to him. He graduated from Northwestern University and makes his home in West Hollywood, California, with his wife Heather and their pug Roosevelt. Greg Schwartz – Editor
Greg Schwartz has edited many short films and music videos. He currently works at New Wave Entertainment as an online editor for DVD value-added content and EPKs. He graduated Northwestern University with a degree in film.
Anna Siri – Producer/Writer
ANNA SIRI is an award-winning writer and producer. She recently completed work on the horror feature MEADOWOODS (writer, 2010) for Eagle’s Nest Films, and is currently developing a second feature project with same. She is a 2009 Nicholl’s Fellowship Quarterfinalist with Sharri Hefner for their screenplay DEAD EX. Her screenplay THE NEWS GIRL won the 2005 UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting Competition, and her short film CAUTION SIGN (writer, producer, 2009), won Best Screenwriting at the 2009 Dark Carnival Film Festival after a successful festival run. Additional short film projects include OH, BABY! (2008), which screened at the 2008 Chicago International REEL Shorts Festival. Anna graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in film, as well as the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting. She is currently developing projects with the Caution Sign team, and is an active member of 12pt. West.
